The first step is to register your company or organisation for Footy Colours Day. You can do that completely online on this website, or you can fax or mail a completed registration form to us.
When you register, it's also a good idea to order extra promotional materials for the event. We'll send you posters free of charge, but Footy Colours Day sticky note pads and pens are also available, and these are a great way to remind people about the day.
Once we receive your registration form, we''ll send you your Footy Colours Day information pack. The pack includes:
- Information on how to deposit the funds you've raised
- Promotional posters
- Any other promotional items you ordered
Enjoy the day on Friday the 7th of September this year, but if this day isn't suitable, you can choose another day around the same time and make sure everyone in your company knows.
It's a good idea to choose a co-ordinator for the day to assist with promoting it and collecting and banking any donations received.
As well as using the posters, pens and sticky note pads to promote the day, it’s also a good idea to include it in any Company Newsletters or Staff meetings you have. The more people you can get involved, the more fun it will be and the more money you'll be able to raise - to help kids with cancer! Send an email to your mates in other companies – challenge them to show their true colours.
