Bridgetown Stepping Stones ELC - We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer! 🏈
Every year, more than 950 children and young people in Australia are diagnosed with cancer. For many families, life changes overnight as treatment begins immediately, often resulting in children spending months away from their school, friends, and everyday routines.
At Bridgetown Stepping Stones ELC, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, play, grow, and simply enjoy being a child. That’s why we are coming together as a centre community to support the Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day and help make a difference for children and families facing cancer.
The funds raised will help provide vital accommodation and support services for families who need to travel for treatment, giving them a safe and welcoming home away from home during some of the most challenging times of their lives. Donations also contribute towards life-saving research into cancer treatments and cures.
We invite our families, friends, and community to wear their favourite footy colours, get involved, and donate whatever they can. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring comfort, support, and hope to children and families affected by cancer.
