We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer!
Every year more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. With treatment starting instantly they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.
This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids!
All the money we raise will help the Fight Cancer Foundation to provide accomodation and support for cancer patients and their families and fund vital life-saving research into cancer treatment and cures.
The accommodation centres offer families living with cancer a home away from home when they need it most, reducing the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis.

On Wednesday the 2nd of September our educators, children, and families are invited to wear their favourite footy colours as we come together to support children and families affected by cancer.
Footy Colours Day is a fun and meaningful way to make a difference while teaching children about kindness, empathy, and the importance of helping others in our community. By wearing our favourite team colours and making a gold coin donation, we’re showing that even small acts of generosity can have a big impact.
Throughout the day, we’ll be celebrating teamwork, inclusion, and community spirit while enjoying activities inspired by our favourite sporting teams. These experiences provide wonderful opportunities to talk with children about caring for others, working together, and how fundraising helps support families during difficult times.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, contributes to providing practical and emotional support for children living with cancer and their families.
We encourage everyone to join in by wearing their favourite footy colours and helping us make a positive difference. Together, we can show our support and brighten the lives of children who need it most.
