We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer!

Every day, 3 Aussie kids are diagnosed with cancer. For families facing long-term treatment, the average stay is more than 6 months, often far from home, school, friends and everything familiar.

This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids and their families.

The money we raise will help Fight Cancer Foundation provide accommodation and support for cancer patients and their families who need to travel for treatment.

With 30% of Australians living more than 180km from major healthcare, Fight Cancer Foundation's accommodation centres provide families with a home away from home, helping them stay together and close to treatment without the added burden of accommodation costs.

Please donate what you can and help make a difference for Aussie kids and families facing cancer.

Why Weโ€™re Getting Involved

Tuesday 25th Aug

During 21โ€“25 September, our centre will be getting behind Footy Colours Day to help raise awareness and donations for childhood cancer.

With the week falling during AFL Grand Final week, it is the perfect opportunity to bring together our love of footy and our commitment to supporting an important cause. We want to use this fun and engaging week to teach the children about kindness, community, helping others and making a difference, while also showing our support for children and families who are affected by cancer.

Weโ€™ll be encouraging our children, families and educators to wear their favourite footy colours or team colours, join in the celebrations and contribute a donation where possible.

By participating, we hope to create a fun week for our service community while helping to raise awareness and much-needed funds for childhood cancer research and support. Every little contribution can make a difference. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‰

Letโ€™s bring the footy spirit, wear our colours and come together for a cause that matters!
