We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer!
Every year more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. With treatment starting instantly they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.
This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids!
All the money we raise will help the Fight Cancer Foundation to provide accomodation and support for cancer patients and their families and fund vital life-saving research into cancer treatment and cures.
The accommodation centres offer families living with cancer a home away from home when they need it most, reducing the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis.
Please donate what you can and help make a difference to the lives of kids with cancer!

Footy Colours Day - Moruya High School
Monday 16th SepFooty Colours Day, which will take place on Friday, the 20th of September. On this day, we’ll be raising money for the Fight Cancer Foundation, which supports children and families affected by cancer.
Cancer is incredibly prevalent in Australia, with 1 in 2 Australians expected to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Every day, around 400 Australians are diagnosed with cancer. These numbers remind us how widespread and devastating this illness can be.
Even with advances in medicine, the treatments available to cancer sufferers need to be improved. Many people endure painful, long treatments that don’t always lead to a cure. That’s why this fundraiser is so important. The money we raise on Footy Colours Day will go directly towards improving cancer treatments and providing much-needed support to those fighting this disease.
This cause is personal for me. I recently lost my father to cancer. He passed away only a year after his diagnosis. He was fit, healthy, and full of life before his diagnosis, and he never had the chance to meet any grandchildren from me or my three siblings. He was my best friend, and his loss has been incredibly difficult.
When a fellow staff member asked me to co-ordinate this event, I knew it was something I wanted to do. It’s a cause close to my heart, and this Friday, I’ll be wearing my dad’s Bulldogs jersey in his memory.
I encourage you all to join me this Friday by wearing your favourite sports jersey and helping us raise money for the Fight Cancer Foundation. Together, we can make a difference and support those battling this terrible disease.
