Hey MIISC Community, We're wearing our footy colours for kids with cancer!

Every year, more than 950 children and young people in Australia are diagnosed with cancer. Treatment begins immediately, and many of these kids spend over six months away from school, friends, and the routines that make childhood feel normal.

This year, our pickleball community at MIISC is stepping up. We’re hosting a special Pickleball Players Lunch as part of Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day, rallying together to support kids who need it most.

All funds raised will help Fight Cancer Foundation provide:

  • Accommodation and support for families going through treatment

  • A home away from home during the toughest moments

  • Vital, life‑saving research into cancer treatment and cures

If you’d like to contribute, you can bring cash on the day and we’ll donate it on your behalf. Every dollar helps lighten the financial and emotional load for families facing a cancer diagnosis.

Let’s come together, share a meal, celebrate our pickleball community, and make a real difference in the lives of kids with cancer.
